Commonwealth Classics

We work on pre-computerized British cars. Whether you call it classic, vintage, or just plain old, we can help you keep it on the road. We specialize in old-fashioned service because we all own classic British cars ourselves.

We can help you repair, maintain, recommission, or restore the vehicle you care so much about. And, if you want to do it yourself, we can help you obtain the parts and the instructions to get it done.

We are located in close-in Vancouver, serving southwest Washington and the greater Portland metro area. Open from 9:00 to 5:00 weekdays, and any other time by appointment. Drop by and check us out. The coffee is always on.

    Who We Service

    Philosophy We Strive For

Our goal is to help the British sports car community enjoy their cars as long as possible by offering maintenance, parts, repair, recommissioning, and restoration of carbureted British cars. We strive to keep the cost affordable, in spite of the fact that these cars are on average, half a century old. Trying to diagnose what might be wrong through all the layers of ‘fixes’ previous owners and shops have done, and deferred maintenance that masks other problems can often take some time. We pledge to work with you to make your favorite car reliable and comfortable to drive.

We also support the community with our monthly Classics & Coffee event. This is a social event and a flash car show. We serve breakfast goodies, Mimosas, and of course, coffee. Join us every second Saturday 9:00 – 11:00 am for great cars (yours!), great food, and great conversations.
